TheNotesOfSally for Zoom

What the app does

• Creates an instant Zoom meeting from TheNotesOfSally ("Try a Zoom call") and opens it for you as host.
• With the TheNotesOfSally browser extension ("Zoom Lite"), you can transcribe a Zoom meeting opened in the browser, only after confirming that participants were informed and agreed.
• Turns the transcript into meeting notes (summary, decisions, actions, risks) and can send them to your tools (Slack, Notion, HubSpot, Odoo...).

Adding the app

1. Sign in to TheNotesOfSally at https://thenotesofsally.salistar.com (free plan available).
2. Open Live meetings and click the "Zoom App" card.
3. Sign in to Zoom if asked and click Allow on the Zoom authorization page.
4. Back in TheNotesOfSally, click "Try a Zoom call" to create and open a Zoom meeting.

Permissions and Zoom data

• user:read:user — reads your Zoom user profile, used to link your Zoom account to your TheNotesOfSally workspace.
• meeting:write:meeting — creates a meeting on your behalf when you click "Try a Zoom call".
• No other Zoom data is read: not your existing meetings, recordings, contacts, chats or calendar.
• Access tokens are encrypted at rest on our servers in Europe, never shared, sold or used for advertising or to train AI models.

Removing the app

1. In Zoom: go to the Zoom App Marketplace, Manage, Added Apps, find TheNotesOfSally and click Remove.
2. Or in TheNotesOfSally: open Live meetings and disconnect Zoom.
3. When the app is removed from Zoom, Zoom notifies TheNotesOfSally and the stored Zoom tokens of that user are deleted automatically.
4. To delete your whole TheNotesOfSally account and its data, write to salistarcompany@gmail.com.
